When nothing feels dirty…it does not necessarily mean everything is clean.It could also mean that everything around is already so contaminated that this filth fit right in!
In the under belly of a civilised life, lies the murk. Where the opinion of others becomes so important, that the fear of not fitting in, is far more frightening than the brutal homicide of our conscience with our bare hands.
Then follows the propensity to say ‘big deal!’ When your mind becomes acclimated to the worst, what harm can a little more do? And this is how the normalising of depravity begins.
Wrong is wrong!Just because everyone is doing it, does NOT make it right. Just because no one else got caught, does NOT mean you can’t be the first.And if you happen to be the first, it does NOT make it ‘so unfair’ to you.
Keep your conscience clean so that every bit of wrong-doing prominently sticks out like an eyesore in need of remedy.
